Ula, one half of the Pain-Proof Rubber Girls Contortion Duo Extraordinaire, would like to prove to the world that it's possible for a woman to be sweet and feminine, yet dangerous and slightly frightening at the same time. Brought into this strange field of sideshow gone awry by the group Alice and Chains, who hired her for their video "No Excuses" in 1994, she has since worked everywhere from Alice Tully Hall with Ornette Coleman, to Vienna with "Modern Primitives," to NYC Crobar for the Armani Exchange Party. Living her life as a combination of Conan and Flashdance, with a touch of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon mixed in, this internationally acclaimed rocker of the circus world, Big Boot and Cheep sunglasses wearing, Flaming Machete wielding, WOMAN with a Sledgehammer is coming your way in an '89 Chevy High Top Van.

Ren-fest geeks beware -- this ain't no juggling act.

"At Chris Noth's Cutting Room, the curious combo of David Lee Roth and Butch "Eddie Munster" Patrick watched performance artist Ula the Pain Proof Rubber Girl lie on a bed of machetes and have a cinderblock broken on her stomach."
